Dallas, PA
Dallas Borough is often referred to as the “heart” of The Back Mountain, an area consisting of Dallas, Kingston Township, a part of Wyoming, West Wyoming, and Harveys Lake. Located in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, Dallas had a population of approximately 2,692 as of the 2020 census.
Dallas is a family-oriented community. Household income in Dallas is above the state average, the number of college educated residents is also above the Pennsylvania average, and the community enjoys a crime rate significantly below state and national levels.
Dallas is also the home of Misericordia University, offering bachelor, masters and doctorate degrees with an annual full-time enrollment of approximately 1,800 students.
